Example GPRS Application > Connecting Remote Serial Devices to Servers using GPRS Networks A GPRS network allows remote monitoring or data collection equipment with serial RS232 connection to send data back to a command center. The GPRS router can be easily configured to relay any data received at its RS232 serial port to a data-collecting server with internet connection (static IP or with DYNDNS assigned name) over a GPRS network. |
