Privacy Statement


What Personal Information We Collect

Amplified Engineering takes privacy seriously and we only collect personal information online when it is voluntarily provided to us. If you choose to register online, we ask you to provide limited personal information, such as your name, address, telephone number and/or email address. Other information may be requested for the purpose of processing payments for services. Amplified Engineering maintains PCI DSS compliance for the storage and use of such information through our payment intermediaries, you can  view their privacy policy here. We also collect information that will allow you to establish a username and password if you would like to do that. 


Internal Uses


We may use your personal information within Amplified Engineering: (1) to provide you with the services and products you request or that have been ordered; (2) to answer questions about our services; billing, payment methods or use of our website; (3) to process or collect payments for our services, (4) to conduct customer surveys; and (5) to contact you about the products and services that we offer.


Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties


Amplified Engineering uses Zoho Subscriptions as a third party contractor for PCI DSS compliance and to provide subscription billing services to our customers. Information is only shared for the limited purpose of providing services to us and they are obligated to keep the information confidential, view their privacy policy With the exception of our contractor we do not disclose any personal information to any third party unless (1) you have authorized us to do so; (2) we are legally required to do so, for example, in response to a subpoena, court order or other legal process and/or, (3) it is necessary to protect our property rights related to this website. We also may share aggregate, non-personal information about website usage with unaffiliated third parties. This aggregate information does not contain any personal information about our users.

How to Review and Change Your Personal Information


If you register for an Amplified Engineering account, you may review and change your personal information by logging in to your Customer Portal, then clicking on your name at the top of the screen and then clicking on “Manage Profile”, or by logging into Billing and then click on “Manage My Account” and then “My Profile,”.


Accuracy of information on this site

This site and its components are offered for informational purposes only; this site shall not be responsible or liable for the accuracy, usefulness or availability of any information transmitted or made available via the site, and shall not be responsible or liable for any error or omissions in that information.

Intellectual Property

The Site and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Amplified Engineering and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

Payment Policy


Free Trial Period - For plans with hardware and data

Your plan will come with a free trial period of 30 days that starts from the date your Subscription Plan is processed. If you start a Plan Subscription on the 1st of May 2019, your billable period will start after 30 days on the 31st of May 2019.


However if there is a failure from Amplified Engineering to ship the leased hardware within 10 days of the Plan Subscription, they will issue the customer a Trial Extension Token to extend their free testing period. The period of the extended trial will be based on the prerogative of Amplified Engineering staff.

Free Trial Period - For data only plans

Your plan will come with a free trial period of 30 days that starts from the date your hardware is shipped to you. If your hardware is shipped out on the 1st of May 2019, your billable period will start after 30 days on the 31st of May 2019.

Rebatable Set Up Fee


When you process your new Plan Subscription, a rebatable set up fee is also processed. 


Rebates for the set up fee will only be applicable for installations that run continually for a period of more than 6 months. The amount that is rebated depends on the condition of the hardware when we receive it and whether it is received in the 30 day period from the date of cancellation. As a reference, users can expect the following level of rebate:

  • Product is in the same condition as we shipped. <50%>

  • Product has received damage but is in working condition without needing repairs. <30%> 

  • Product requires repair to be in a working condition. <5%>

  • Product is a write off. <0%>


Upgrading or Downgrading a Subscription Plan


You can change to a lower or higher tier plan for a part of/your entire subscription at any time by contacting our sales team.


The amount that you are billed for is prorated to the day which the changes are made. For example, if you have been billed to the 5th of June and change to another plan on the 12th of June, you invoice will reflect 7 days in your old plan and the rest according to your new plan.


Canceling a Subscription


Amplified Engineering provides flexible terms of use without lock in contracts. You can cancel a selected part of/your entire subscription at any time by contacting our sales team.


The amount you are billed is prorated to the date you cancel. If you cancel your subscription on the 12th of June and your last bill paid was on the 5th of June, you will be charged an additional 7 days for services rendered. You are required to settle any unbilled charges using the customer portal before your cancellation can be processed.


You are given 30 days to ship the units back to us. If we do not receive the leased units or a notification of the return shipment within 30 days, the rebate of the set up fee is null and void even if the units are in good working condition. If no goods are received by us within a 60 day period a charge of USD150 will be issued and any other remaining service with us will be also cancelled.

If the customer requires additional time to ship the units back, they must request for an extension request within 30 days from the cancellation of the subscription.


Hardware Swaps


Along with the Subscription service, customers are able to swap new hardware when they are faced with disruptions to the service as the result of (1) cellular technology migration from service providers in the region, (2) loss of connectivity as a result of issues with the hardware. Amplified Engineering will not be liable for other forms of losses incurred by the business. 


Customers are still required to return their existing hardware to Amplified Engineering and liable to receive a portion of their set up fees depending on the timing of the return and condition of the leased hardware.


End-of-service installations that have run for a period of 24 months continually will receive exemption from the set up fee for the swapped hardware - subject to conditional promotions that may be running at the time of change.


Delivery of Goods


Amplified Engineering utilises a third party shipping company. The responsibility of a safe and prompt delivery of goods lies on them once the hardware is handed over. 


Notifications of Policy Changes


The company reserves the right to change these conditions from time to time as it sees fit and your continued use of the site will signify your acceptance of any adjustment to these terms. If there are any changes to our privacy policy, we will announce that these changes have been made on our home page and on other key pages on our site. If there are any changes in how we use our site customers' Personally Identifiable Information, notification by email or postal mail will be made to those affected by the change. Any changes to our privacy policy will be posted on our site 30 days prior to these changes taking place. You are therefore advised to re-read this statement on a regular basis.
