Temperature Sensor
The starter kit includes a temperature sensor (a 0c-400c type K thermocouple) pre-wired to the Novus Digirail-2A analog Modbus module. Together with default iotasset.txt configuration, this setup allows immediate testing of field data to Azure without further integration to other external equipment or sensors.

Once device and Azure is properly configured according to the Tutorial, the FATBOX G3 gateway in the starter kit will send JSON messages to the Azure IoT Hub as example above.
